Backpackers: If your looking for a really fantastic and affordable place to stay then look no further than Blu Guest House (click here ). Run by the very friendly Jay Lee, Blu Guest House is a 5 min walk from the subway station. Funky architecture and immaculately clean, with very comfy duvets all for the incredibly affordable price of W15 000 pp per night...you can't go wrong!

Books: If your in Seoul, and happen to find yourself in Itaewon (nicknamed the Western Heart of Seoul) you have to pop in to 'What the Book?' (click here) , the only stand alond English Book Shop in South Korea. Very friendly staff who are happy to help you with any questions/queries...For directions (click here)...they have recently revamped the store but a map is available above with directions (they have moved about a 2 min walk away from their old location).

Food: If ur feeling peckish, and feel like a great traditional curry, then head over to Taj Palace. Delicious garlic naan and even more delicious curry! A must...The Chicken Masala was quiet spicy but the Lamb Roganjosh was to die for. Taj Palace is just a few shops down from WhatTheBook (directions on their fb page~above)

Grocery Shopping: If your on the lookout for some of your favourite treats from back home (where ever that may be) then check out the 'Foreign Food Market' . 5 minutes from the subway, opposite Taj Palace and next door to What the Book, this market has loads of yummy snacks and treats...as well as all the other staples you probably wont come accross in your local Emart or HomePlus...from Nutella, to Coriandar Seeds and pesto to hubbly's and ceries
