Samgyupsal :) more Korean BBQ

As in our earlier post *Korean BBQ*, Samgyupsal (삼겹살) is probably the most popular type of meat for Korean barbecue. It is made from pork belly strips, the same part we use in the West for bacon.

After being served the usual condiments and dips, the meat is then placed on the grill and cooked (usually by a waiter/waitress~they don't trust us Westerners not to burn the food!)

The best thing about it is that it's inexpensive and most of all, delicious...wrapped in a bed of lettuce or eaten straight with some fried kimchi *mashida*
